As SVP of Development, Mark Hayden oversees the feasibility, entitlement, development, design and construction of Capstone’s commercial property. Mr. Hayden is a licensed Architect and has over 20 years in the development and entitlement of commercial property.
Prior to joining Capstone Advisors, Mr. Hayden spent 18 years with Tait & Associates, a Fortune 500 engineering firm where, as Director and Vice President of the San Diego Regional Office, he oversaw the daily operations in providing Engineering, Architecture, and Environmental services to the commercial/retail industry. Specializing in Architectural Planning and Entitlements for national recognized retailers, Mr. Hayden has been responsible for the development of hundreds of projects throughout Southern California with scopes of services ranging form the preliminary stages of research, studies, design and layout, thru the entitlement phases of discretionary permits and public presentations, to the final stages of construction documents, permit processing, and construction administration.
Mr. Hayden holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New School of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
