As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Paul Kneisel joined Capstone in March 2024 with twenty years of Controller and VP-level property management accounting experience.
From 2005 to 2024, Paul led the Accounting department at four successive companies: Sea Breeze Properties, Davlyn Investments, Bridgewest Group, and Griswold Real Estate Management. He managed the accounting and financial statement reporting, served as the database administrator, and completed multiple software implementations. Paul’s expertise includes training, motivating, and managing personnel; delivering consistent and accurate financial reporting; maintaining effective internal controls; analyzing operating results; and ensuring compliance with the various lending and tax requirements.
Paul Kneisel has earned three degrees from San Diego State University: a BS in Finance, MSBA in Finance, and an MBA in Accounting. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of California. He also holds a Broker license through the California Department of Real Estate.
