Esther Amano is the Director of Accounting at Capstone Advisors, Inc. with over a decade experience specializing in public and private commercial real estate accounting. With a dynamic approach, dedicated to high-quality, end-user deliverables, Esther oversees the firm’s treasury management, financial reporting, investor administration, compliance and lender draws.
Esther began her career in real estate with Ernst & Young LLP’s Real Estate Group performing audits, reviews, compilations, cost segregation studies, internal control reviews and valuations of commercial real estate companies to include operating properties, development and REITs. The underwriting experience gained from large institutional commercial real estate lenders developed financial analysis skills valuable during her time in private corporate accounting. During her tenure with a large commercial development firm her analyses were relied upon by executive management, equity partners and lenders alike. Her experience spans all facets of commercial real estate including, Big 4 CPA firm, private commercial real estate development and commercial loan underwriting.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University, passing the CA CPA exam shortly thereafter. In service to her community, she has acted as Treasurer and committee member for various non-profit organizations.
